In fact, I was a professional influencer and have over 15 years of content creation experience. So why did I create LEGACY? I got tired of not being present and spending all of my time researching, editing videos and photos, organizing content, writing captions, posting the finished product, and all the little tasks that are a part of creating in-vogue content for platforms that are consistently evolving. Eventually I got tired of staring at my phone, working on beautiful virtual things, and not living the beautiful REAL life in front of me.

One day I woke up and realized, it didn’t matter how much money I was making as an influencer if I couldn’t be present in my own everyday life. Frustrated, I vented to my friends who were stay at home moms, CEOs, and socialites, expecting them to have no idea what I was frustrated about. Instead, I got a response that made me feel less alone. They may not have been an influencer like me, but they were tired of spending their free time not looking into the eyes of their lovers, friends, children, and families…and instead being consumed by keeping up on social media, doing the same tasks I was all too familiar with…but of course, as a perfectionist, I thought…”Who would do it with attention to detail like me, or sound like me? Would my audience know I hired someone?”

I didn’t want to hire a whole team where my brand would get lost in translation. I wanted one person that could be devoted to helping me, like a personal assistant, but not quite full time, yet on my time, available often and on-demand so I could post nearly in real time (or shortly after). Most importantly, I wanted to hire someone who could fully grasp my brand’s vision and create efficiently, but never cut corners. I simply couldn’t find her.
